This website does not store your data.
By this, we mean the personal, family and estate-planning answers you type into these preparation forms. They are processed in your browser tab to create previews and files. The application does not send questionnaire answers to Fenton Marsh servers and does not operate a database or server-side storage for those answers.
What remains on your device?
Your answers are held temporarily in browser memory while you use the form. Refreshing or closing the tab normally clears them. Documents you download are saved by your browser on your device or another destination you choose. If you choose to save a will draft, it is encrypted in your browser using a passphrase you provide; we do not receive the passphrase and cannot recover it. Your browser, extensions and device may have their own autofill, backup and download features.
What about technical website logs?
Normal website hosting may retain technical access logs such as IP addresses, times and pages visited for security and operational reasons. This statement does not mean no technical visit data is ever processed. Hosting configuration and the wider Fenton Marsh privacy notice must be checked before public launch.
What about government form links?
Following links to government or other issuing authorities opens those external services. Their privacy and cookie practices then apply. The application does not attach your answers to these outgoing links.
Scope of this notice
This notice describes the current static Make a Will and Powers of Attorney professional document preparation tools. It is not a complete privacy notice for every Fenton Marsh service and should be reviewed against the live hosting arrangements before publication.
