Important limits of the service.

No automatic retainer

Sending an enquiry does not create a paid retainer. Paid work starts only when scope and fee are agreed.

Client responsibility

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, clients remain responsible for filing documents at court or tribunal, serving other parties, sending correspondence, attending hearings and taking procedural steps.

Reserved legal activities

Fenton Marsh does not conduct reserved litigation, accept service, handle client money, go on the court record or provide services requiring authorisation unless a lawful basis is expressly identified and agreed.
